Definition

Zionism is a nationalist movement among Jews (and some Christians) that supports the re-establishment of a Jewish homeland in what is now Israel.

Analogy

Imagine you're part of a club that lost its original meeting place years ago. Now, members want to reclaim that space because it has significant meaning for them - this is similar to Zionism's goal for Jews regarding Israel.
