Recall

Definition

Recall is the procedure whereby voters can remove an elected official from office through direct vote before his or her term has ended.

Analogy

It's like when you buy something from the store but then decide it doesn't work how you wanted it to. You have your receipt (your voting right), so you return it (recall them) and get something different instead (elect someone new).
