Protests are public demonstrations or expressions of objection or disapproval towards a particular issue or policy. They often involve large groups of people gathering together to voice their concerns and demand change.

Analogy

Imagine you're at a school cafeteria where students are protesting against unhealthy food options. They hold signs, chant slogans, and make their dissatisfaction known to the school administration. Similarly, protests in history involve people coming together to express their discontent with certain policies or actions.
