Protests are public demonstrations or gatherings where individuals express their dissent or objections towards certain issues, often advocating for change.
Think of protests as a group project at school. Instead of just accepting things as they are, some students come together outside of class time to voice their concerns about how things are being done, hoping to make improvements.
Civil Disobedience: Deliberate refusal to obey laws deemed unjust as a form of protest.
Activism: Taking action on social or political issues in order to bring about change.
Demonstrations: Public displays often involving speeches, signs, and other forms of expression.
