Legislation: Legislation refers to the process of making or enacting laws through the legislative branch of government.
Executive Order: An executive order is a directive issued by the president that manages operations of the federal government. It has the force of law but does not require approval from Congress.
Regulation: A regulation is a rule or requirement set by an administrative agency within the executive branch of government. It provides specific details on how laws will be implemented.
