Definition

World War One, also known as the Great War, was a global conflict that took place from 1914 to 1918. It involved major world powers and resulted in millions of casualties, significant territorial changes, and the collapse of empires.

Analogy

Imagine a massive game of tug-of-war where countries from different corners of the world are pulling against each other with all their might. The tension builds up until it erupts into a chaotic battle involving armies, tanks, and planes.
