Iran, officially known as the Islamic Republic of Iran, is a country in Western Asia. It has a rich history dating back to ancient times and was once home to one of the world's oldest civilizations.

Analogy

Think of Iran like an old library book that's been passed around for centuries. Just like how a book collects notes and scribbles from each person who reads it, Iran has layers upon layers of history from different empires and cultures that have influenced it over time.
