Power

Definition

Power refers to the probability of correctly rejecting a false null hypothesis. It measures our ability to detect an actual effect or relationship.

Analogy

Imagine you're playing a video game and your character has a power meter that shows how strong their attacks are. The higher the power, the more likely you are to defeat enemies and succeed in the game.
