Joules is the unit of measurement for energy. It represents the amount of work done when a force of one newton acts on an object to move it one meter.
Imagine you have a backpack full of books and you need to carry it up a flight of stairs. The number of joules would be like counting how many steps you took to reach the top, measuring the effort or work required to lift the backpack.
Work: Work is the transfer of energy that occurs when a force is applied over a distance.
Power: Power measures how quickly work is done or how fast energy is transferred.
Potential Energy: Potential energy refers to stored energy that an object possesses due to its position or condition.
