Definition

Position refers to the location of an object in relation to a reference point.

Think of position as your home address. It tells you where you are located in relation to other places.

Distance: The total length traveled by an object, regardless of direction.

Displacement: The change in position of an object from its initial position to its final position.

Coordinate System: A system used to locate points or objects in space using coordinates.
