Definition

Monte Vesuvio is an active volcano located near Naples, Italy. It is famous for its eruption in 79 AD that destroyed the ancient city of Pompeii.

Imagine Monte Vesuvio as a sleeping giant. Just like a giant can wake up and cause chaos, the volcano can erupt at any moment.
