The Grimm Brothers, Jacob and Wilhelm, were German academics who are best known for publishing collections of folk tales and fairy tales which became popular across the globe.
Think of the Grimm Brothers like DJs remixing classic songs. They took traditional folk tales (the original songs), added their own spin to them and then released them to a wider audience.

Literature: Written works that are considered to be very good and to have lasting importance.
