Definition

Atomic weapons or nuclear weapons are explosive devices that derive destructive force from nuclear reactions. They were first used during World War II by United States against Japan.

Analogy

Imagine atomic weapons as an extremely dangerous firework show. Just like how fireworks use chemical reactions to create big explosions and bright lights, atomic weapons use nuclear reactions to create massive destructions and energy release.
