Legislative Branch
Definition
The legislative branch is the part of government responsible for making laws. It consists of elected representatives who debate and vote on proposed legislation.
Analogy
Think of the legislative branch as a group project in school. Each student represents a different district or region, and together they work to create new rules and policies for the entire class.
