Definition

The executive branch is responsible for implementing and enforcing laws. It includes the president or head of state, along with their administration.

Analogy

Imagine that a school has an executive branch consisting of student council members. They are responsible for executing decisions made by teachers (legislative branch) and ensuring that school rules are followed.
