Dialogue and Negotiation

Definition

Dialogue and negotiation are processes of communication and discussion between individuals or groups with differing views or interests. They aim to find common ground, resolve conflicts, and reach mutually beneficial agreements.

Analogy

Imagine two friends who have different preferences for a movie night. Instead of arguing or insisting on their own choices, they engage in a conversation where they listen to each other's opinions and find a movie that both can enjoy. This is similar to dialogue and negotiation in politics.
