Sublimation
Definition
Sublimation is the process in which a substance changes from a solid to a gas without passing through the liquid state.
Analogy
Imagine you're making popcorn. The kernel (solid) pops and turns directly into popcorn (gas), skipping the liquid phase. That's sublimation!
