Sierra Club
Definition
The Sierra Club is an environmental organization in the United States. It was founded on May 28, 1892, in San Francisco, California, by John Muir and other supporters. Its mission is to promote the conservation of the natural environment by influencing public policy decisions—legislative, administrative, legal, and electoral.
