Royal Crown
Definition
The Royal Crown refers to monarchy or the reigning monarch in Britain during a given period. In context of AP US History, it often refers to King George III who reigned during American Revolution.
Analogy
Think of the Royal Crown like your school principal - they're in charge and make decisions that affect everyone in school (or country). But if students (or citizens) feel those decisions are unfair, they might start a petition (or revolution) against them.
