Roman Catholic Religion

Definition

One of the oldest branches of Christianity with its own unique set of doctrines and practices including belief in seven sacraments, veneration of saints, and recognition of the Pope as its spiritual leader.

Analogy

Think about your favorite sports team. They have specific rules they play by (doctrines), special traditions they follow (sacraments), star players they celebrate (saints), and a coach who guides them (the Pope). That's kind of how Roman Catholicism works!
