President General

Definition

In Benjamin Franklin's Albany Plan, he proposed that a President General be appointed by the British Crown. This person would serve as chief executive officer overseeing colonial defense, Indian affairs, and executing laws passed by the Grand Council.

Analogy

Consider President General as your school principal appointed by district authorities. They oversee school operations (colonial defense), student welfare (Indian affairs), and enforce rules set by student council (laws passed by Grand Council).
