Paris is the capital city of France and one of its oldest cities. It's known for its rich history, culture, art, and fashion. During World War II, it was occupied by Germany from 1940 until its liberation by Allied forces in 1944.
Imagine Paris as your school library - a place filled with knowledge (history), creativity (art), and style (fashion). Just like how your library might be temporarily closed for renovation (German occupation), it eventually reopens with all its charm intact (liberation).
