Panama Intervention

Definition

The Panama Intervention or Operation Just Cause (1989-1990) was an American military action against the government of General Manuel Noriega in Panama. This intervention aimed to safeguard U.S lives, defend democracy in Panama, combat drug trafficking, and protect the integrity of the Torrijos–Carter Treaties.
