Definition
A channel or means of communication used to convey information or messages.
Analogy
Think of a medium as a tool for delivering pizza. Just like different mediums such as phone calls, text messages, or even carrier pigeons can be used to deliver pizza to your doorstep, different mediums can be used to communicate information or messages.
