Definition
A term used in the United States to refer to people with cultural ties to Latin America, including countries in Central and South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
Analogy
Think of a big family reunion where everyone shares a common ancestry but lives in different parts of the world. Latinos are like this family - they share cultural roots but can be found all over the Americas.
