Immigration

Definition

Immigration refers to people moving into a country or region they are not native to with intentions of settling there permanently.

Analogy

Imagine your school's club fair where different clubs set up booths trying to attract new members. Students (immigrants) walk around deciding which club (country) they want to join based on what each one offers - just like immigrants choose countries based on opportunities for better life prospects.
