European Theater

Definition

The European Theater was a major area of operations during World War II where Allied forces fought against Axis powers, primarily Germany and Italy. It spanned from the UK to Eastern Europe.

Analogy

Think of the European Theater as a giant chessboard. Each country in Europe is like a square on the board, and the Allies and Axis powers are like two players moving their pieces (troops) around, trying to outmaneuver each other.
