Enforce Laws

Definition

This is the process by which governmental authorities ensure compliance with legal rules, regulations, standards, and norms.

Analogy

Enforcing laws is like a referee in a soccer game. The referee's job is to make sure all players follow the game's rules. If someone breaks a rule, it's the referee’s job to call out the foul and enforce any necessary penalties - just like how law enforcement officers uphold laws in society.
