Echo Chambers

Echo chambers refer to situations in which beliefs are amplified or reinforced by communication and repetition inside a closed system and insulated from rebuttal.

Analogy

An echo chamber is like being in a room full of mirrors. Instead of seeing different things, you only see reflections of yourself and your own opinions everywhere you look.
