Delaware

Definition

Delaware is one of the 50 states of the United States, located in the Mid-Atlantic region. It was the first state to join the Union on December 7, 1787.

Analogy

Think of Delaware as a pioneer student in a new school year. Just like how this student would be the first to enter and get familiar with a new classroom, Delaware was the first state to join and become part of what we now know as the United States.
