Definition
Christianity is a monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ as presented in the New Testament. It's one of the largest religions in the world, with followers known as Christians.

Think of Christianity like a tree. The roots represent its origins in Judaism, the trunk symbolizes the core beliefs shared by all Christians (like belief in Jesus Christ), and the branches are different denominations (like Catholicism, Protestantism, Orthodox) that have grown over time but still share the same foundational beliefs.
