Canada

Definition

A country in North America, located to the north of the United States. It was first explored by Europeans in the late 15th century and later colonized by both the French and British.

Analogy

Think of Canada as a large house with many rooms (provinces and territories). Each room has its own unique features but they all contribute to making up the whole house. Similarly, each province or territory in Canada has its own unique culture, geography, and economy but they all come together to form one unified country.
