Also known as Russian Revolution; it was an uprising in Russia in 1917 that overthrew the czarist government and led to the formation of a communist government under Lenin.
Imagine if your school's student council decided they didn't like how things were being run by principal (czar), so they rallied all students (workers) and staged a massive protest leading to them taking control and changing all rules according to their ideology. That's similar to what happened during Bolshevik Revolution.
Vladimir Lenin: A Russian revolutionary leader who served as head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917-1924 and of Soviet Union from 1922-1924.
Red Army: The military force that was developed by Bolsheviks after they came into power in Russia during October revolution in 1917.
Proletariat: Workers or working-class people, regarded collectively.
