Trade and Travel Patterns

Definition

These are the routes and methods used by traders and travelers throughout history, which have shaped economic, cultural, and political exchanges between different regions.

Analogy

Think of trade and travel patterns like a city's public transportation system. Just as buses follow specific routes to connect different neighborhoods, historical trade routes connected various civilizations. The goods traded are like passengers on the bus - they start in one place but end up somewhere completely different!
