The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the right bank of the Yamuna river in Agra city in India. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal during 1632-1653 AD., it's considered one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture.
