Sun God Inti

Definition

In Incan mythology, the Sun God Inti was considered the ancestor of the Incas and was revered as one of their most important deities.

Analogy

Think of Inti like the CEO of a major company - in this case, the Incan pantheon. Just as a CEO is often seen as the figurehead and driving force behind a business, so too was Inti seen as a central figure in Incan religious life.
