The Salt March was a nonviolent protest against the British salt tax in colonial India led by Mohandas Gandhi in 1930.
Imagine if you were told you had to pay a hefty fee every time you wanted to use Wi-Fi at home. You'd probably be pretty upset, right? That's how Indians felt about the British salt tax. So, they decided to "disconnect" from this unfair system and create their own "network" - hence, the Salt March.
