Roman Empire

Definition

The Roman Empire was a vast, powerful civilization that existed from 27 BC to 476 AD, covering large parts of Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. It is known for its significant contributions to law, politics, architecture, and culture.

Analogy

Think of the Roman Empire as a giant shopping mall. Just like a mall has different stores offering various products (representing diverse cultures), the Roman Empire had different regions with their unique cultures under one roof. And just like a mall has rules and regulations (representing laws), so did the Roman Empire have laws governing its territories.
