North Korea

Definition

Officially known as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), North Korea is an authoritarian state located on the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. It's characterized by strict government control over many aspects of life including media and economy.

Analogy

Imagine North Korea as an isolated fortress on top of a mountain. Just like this fortress that doesn't allow outsiders to enter easily or residents to leave freely, North Korea maintains strict controls over its borders and information flow.
