The Ndongo Kingdom was an early-modern African state located within modern-day Angola. It was ruled by the Mbundu people and came under the rule of Queen Nzinga in the 17th century.
Think of Ndongo Kingdom as a family-owned business that's been passed down through generations. The Portuguese Colonizers are like a big corporation trying to take over, but Queen Nzinga (the current owner) is doing everything she can to keep it in the family.
