National Sovereignty

Definition

National Sovereignty is the principle that a state has full control over affairs within its territorial boundaries, free from interference by other nations.

Analogy

Think of national sovereignty like your bedroom. You have the right to decide what happens in your room - how it's decorated, who can come in, etc. - without your siblings (other countries) interfering.
