Muslim League

Definition

The Muslim League was a political party established during the early 20th century in British India. Its main purpose was to safeguard the political rights of Muslims in India and, eventually, it led to the creation of Pakistan.

Analogy

Think of the Muslim League as a sports team advocating for fair play rules in a league where they feel underrepresented. They want their interests protected and ultimately decide to form their own league (Pakistan) where they can ensure this.
