Definition

Land redistribution refers to government-initiated or -backed transfers of agricultural land from large landowners to those with little or no land.

Analogy

Imagine if your teacher took all the textbooks in class owned by just one student who had hoarded them all, then distributed them evenly among everyone else so that each student has equal resources for studying.
