Han Ethnicity

Definition

The Han ethnicity is the largest ethnic group in China, making up about 92% of the population. They are known for their significant contributions to Chinese culture, language, history, and societal norms.

Analogy

Think of the Han Ethnicity as a giant tree in a forest (China). While there are other trees (ethnic groups) around it, this one is by far the biggest and most influential. Its roots (culture and history) have spread deep into the ground (society), shaping much of what we see on the surface.
