Definition

The Golden Age of Islam refers to a period from the 8th century to the 14th century when much of the historically Islamic world was experiencing a scientific, economic, and cultural flourishing.

Imagine if your school's football team not only won every game one season but also had players excelling academically off-field. That's what it was like during the Golden Age of Islam - there were victories on multiple fronts including science, arts, literature, architecture etc.
