Bollywood is an informal term used to represent the Hindi-language film industry based in Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay), India. It's one of the largest centers of film production in the world.
If Hollywood is Coca-Cola, then Bollywood would be Pepsi - both are massive players within their respective markets (Western vs Eastern cinema), producing numerous films each year that cater to their vast audiences' tastes.
Hindi Cinema: Refers specifically to films produced within Bollywood, where Hindi is predominantly spoken language.
Indian Cinema: This refers to all film industries across India including regional ones like Tollywood (Telugu), Kollywood (Tamil) etc., not just Bollywood which produces Hindi films.
Masala Films: A style of Indian cinema, especially in Bollywood, that mixes various genres in one film. For example, a film can have action, comedy, romance and drama all together.
