Definition

Blitzkrieg, or "lightning war," was a military tactic designed to create disorganization among enemy forces through the use of mobile forces and locally concentrated firepower.

Analogy

Blitzkrieg is like a surprise party where guests suddenly appear from all directions. The birthday person (the enemy) is caught off guard and overwhelmed by the sudden influx of people (the attacking forces).
