Armenian Genocide

Definition

The Armenian Genocide was the systematic mass murder and expulsion of 1.5 million ethnic Armenians carried out in Turkey and adjoining regions by the Ottoman government between 1914 and 1923.

Analogy

Imagine you're playing a game of musical chairs, but instead of just losing your seat when the music stops, you're forcibly removed from the game entirely. This is similar to how the Armenians were violently forced out of their homes during this genocide.
