Definition
Antibiotics are medicines that help stop infections by killing bacteria or preventing them from reproducing.
Analogy
Imagine antibiotics as pest control for your body. Just like how pest control eliminates unwanted bugs from your house, antibiotics eliminate harmful bacteria from your body.
