Anti-Semitism is prejudice against, hatred of, or discrimination against Jews as a religious, ethnic or racial group.

Analogy

Think about someone who dislikes all dogs because they were once bitten by one particular breed. This unfair generalization is similar to anti-Semitism where individuals harbor prejudice towards all Jews based on stereotypes or isolated incidents.
